GOM has just announced a new tournament and I’ve decided it’d be the perfect testing ground for my new blog. If I’ve done this right, you should see this on TheCzarOfAll.com, TheCzarOfAll.Tumblr.com, and a link on Facebook. Twitter is still up in arms though.
Regardless, the King of Kongs tournament is here to see who REALLY inherited the Kong-line Curse of only getting second. The curse that left YellOw with only second places in OSL and MSL play. The competitors are all of the people that came so close, but have yet to grasp gold in GSL. They are, in order, Rainbow (at the time, HopeTorture), MarineKing, JulyZerg, InCa, Losira, TOP, Leenock, and DongRaeGu.
We all know that no matter what happens, the REAL Kong-line Curse inheritor is MarineKing, but who’ll get second here? Well, not to be the bearer of bad news, but I’m almost 100% sure on a ZvZ finals. Rainbow has been lacking success as of late, as has InCa, and if TOP meets DRG anywhere before the finals, he’s out. As for MarineKing, I just don’t feel his TvZ is strong enough to beat July, Leenock, OR DRG. I don’t know the bracket as of yet, but a ZvZ final is what it looks like to me.
